Katie&Jonathan

We had the great honor of photographing Katie and Jonathan's wedding on Saturday. It was a steamy afternoon, 98 degrees and 80% humidity(at least we weren't wearing black) which is what summer weddings in the south is all about. Despite the heat, the duo were real troopers. We shot late into the night and had a blast...my adrenalin was pegged for quite a while. Can't wait for their awesome families to see the results!

Best, lil Dallas

Chelsey & Zach....Part Deux

On Wednesday we were ecstatic to meet back up with Chelsey & Zach at the family farm. The weather and the light were perfect and we got shot and shot and shot some more. It just goes to show what you can do with a 'week after' shoot. It's so relaxed and fun. Here's a few straight out of the camera

Traveling Dallas'

We were burning up the road this week! Can't believe how much we've been traveling lately. We had a great time on Tuesday with Melissa & Charlie in Augusta. It was also great to meet the rest of the family: Lady and Rocky, their two really cool dogs.

Coming up next... We're back to Pine Mountain for a 'week after' shoot with Chelsey and Zach.

Chelsey & Zach

The team packed up and headed north about an hour to the beautiful Morris family farm. Situated on a hilltop with Pine trees and open pasture land all around, it was an ideal setting for a gorgeous wedding. Anyone who lives around here knows that the Southern states haven't had rain in what seems like an eternity. Well, the tide turned in a big way on Saturday with a nice steady rain from 4 to 6 o clock. Chelsey and Zach were amazing! They were so happy, young and energetic and we all had a blast taking photos and getting drenched. You could tell these two had something special. They first saw each other under a huge oak tree with a tree house that Zack built when they were young. Some truly touching moments this weekend. Thanks to Chelsey and Zach for braving the weather and letting us play a bit. Thankfully, our gear could handle all the rain.We were soaked through and through. Thanks to Canon Cameras for producing such resilient cameras!

Best, Joseph
