Married! Sophia&Steve

What can I say? Anyone who was there knows that it was a real honor to be a part of Sophia and Steve's wedding last weekend.

We started shooting Friday night at their beautiful rehearsal dinner. It was held at 103 West, which is where Erica and I had our very own reception last year. It was great going back there for the first time.

The festivities started at 2:30 in the afternoon on Saturday. And when we left the reception at 2:30 in the morning, the party was still going strong. We fell in love with the traditional Greek music and dancing, the family and friends, the infectious energy that filled the room. Even though we shot for 12 hours on Saturday, I could've kept on shooting for hours. It was just an awesome experience.

The reception was held at the Grand Hyatt Atlanta, it was one of the most beautifully decorated ball rooms I've seen. Sophia and Steve also spiced things up a bit with a belly dance performance before their grand entrance. It was great!

We also got to work with some super cool videographers who do some amazing work themselves.

I just started going through the images. Early estimates are that we took around 10,000. Yes....I know...thats a bunch. Better get to work.

Here are a few that I picked off the top. I'm sure there's a lot more winners to come.

Married:Robin & Chase

What else can we say? These two are absolutely wonderful people and, in case you didn't notice, are incredibly good looking. I mean, really really really good looking.

We had such a blast with their families. They were troopers as well, especially considering last Saturday creped well into the 90's. These are just some quick picks from the wedding.

The reception was held outdoors at a cool Columbus Venue called The Riverclub. Rebekah and the rest of the crew down there run a tight ship.

Thanks to Robin, Chase and the whole family for letting us be a part of such a wonderful day.

Chrome, Italian Leather, and 150 cc's...could you ask for anything more?

Viva la Vespa!

I've recently joined another small subculture of our society: Vespa owners.

After a couple of weeks of batting around the idea, talking to friends about it, and getting input from scooter professionals, we decided on a 2008 Vespa LXV. you can see it here on Vespa's website.

Last Friday we drove up to Atlanta, along with a good friend of mine, and purchased ours at the same time. Not only is riding these things a lot of fun, it's also lessens the typical carbon footprint, saves gas money, and is-in my opinion-pretty stinkin cool.

I'm fairly sure we are the only two people scootin around on a Vespa here in Columbus, Georgia. So if you see us, just know that we're having a blast.
