Erica's parents are moving back to the east coast from California next month. We're so happy they're going to be closer to us. In the mean time, we're taking care of the long time family dog: Max. He is one of those dogs that should have his own cartoon or clothing line or something.Right now though, he's serving as an awesome morale booster and seems to be very, very photogenic. We'll miss him badly when he leaves in a couple of weeks.

Lisa&Scott

So sorry we haven't been updating as frequently as we'd like. Things have been so busy! Here are a couple of shots from the wedding we photographed yesterday. Lisa & Scott were such a dream to work with. The two of them were gracious enough to give us plenty of time to work our magic. It was such a blast!

More to come...

Stephanie&Jason

Saturday we shot Stephanie and Jason's wedding right here in downtown Columbus. It was truly an awesome occasion. Even though the weather didn't always cooperate, the duo was so enthused to work with us. Here's a sneak preview.

Angela&Robert

We were on the road again this past weekend to shoot Angela and Roberts' incredible wedding. They were extremely willing to play along with most anything we suggested. Angela was sporting a BIRDCAGE VEIL!!! Which all photographers, including myself, go crazy over. Erica also caught the three of us swarming around the couple. What a great weekend!

Project:Retro ---- The House

December 28, 2006

It's a pivotal time in every young mans' life. Time to roll up the cot, take down the tent and pack up to find your own place. The search for 'Chez Dallas' began with the inevitable questions: Apartment or House? Loft or Condo? Downtown or the Burbs? I'd always seen myself as a loft living, walk to the local coffee shop type. But then 2919 West Britt David Road came into my life. It was big enough. It was in a nice part of town. But most importantly: It was cute, a requirement for my soon to be wife Erica. With the inspections done and the papers signed, our little bungalow was ready to move into. Until I decided, that is, that we would need new flooring and some recess lighting...and while we were at it, a remodeled bathroom. With a little help from friends and family, we were able to do this almost entirely ourselves. The months leading up to our wedding were a blur of power tools and Full Throttle Energy drink. Here are some before and afters.

Image of the Week 5/1/07

Project:Retro

As our wedding season gets off to a roaring start, all of us here have been reflecting on the changes that have taken place in our lives over the last six months.

Buying a home, growing our business, getting married...the list goes on and on. So with that in mind, we'd like to occasionally take a look back on some of the big moments of the past six months.

Thursday will be the first official 'jk Dallas Retrospective.'

Can't wait to share!

For now though, enjoy the image of the week!
